Listen to Bonobo on the new episode of The FADER Interview
The veteran producer of all things electronic sits down with Jordan Darville to discuss his new album, Fragments.
Bonobo has been plumbing the depths of electronica for over 20 years. The Brighton-born producer began his career as a trip-hop pioneer at the turn of the millennium, and has since ventured across the extended universe of the danceable, from downtempo to drum'n'bass, nu jazz to Detroit techno.
Today he dropped Fragments, his seventh studio LP and his first full-length since 2017's Migrations. The record features Jamila Woods, Joji, and Kadhja Bonet, among others.
Two day's before the album's release, Bonobo sat down with Jordan Darville for the new episode of The FADER Interview. They discussed the creative pressures musicians face during the pandemic, embracing nostalgia in healthy moderation, and old-school pirate radio filter sweeps.
