WizKid and Tems brought their summer smash "Essence" to late night on Tuesday. The Nigerian afropop artists stopped by The Tonight Show to perform their Grammy-nominated track. Check out the performance above.

"Essence" first appeard on WizKid's 2020 album Made In Lagos and gained popularity throughout this year, resulting in Justin Bieber jumping on a remix in August. Tems, meanwhile, released new EP If Orange Was a Place in September and appeared on Drake's latest album, Certified Lover Boy.
