On February 18, 2022, Tame Impala will share The Slow Rush Deluxe Box Set, an expanded edition of their 2020 LP. The set promises expanded editions, two new B-sides, and remixes, including an unexpected appearance by Lil Yachty on a new version of "Breathe Deeper," which you can hear now.
The sound of the song remains unchanged, offering Yachty a new, more psychedelic space to serve his melodic bars. In a press statement, Yachty sounded about as surprised as I was to hear him on the song: "It was so amazing to work with Kevin as I've been a big fan since high school so it was a pleasant surprise and honor to be a part of such an incredible song." Yachty stars with Tame Impala frontman Kevin Parker in the neon trail-filled music video, streaming above.
