Berlin-based, Norwegian-American artist Kaya Wilkins, performing as Okay Kaya, has announced her upcoming project, The Incompatible Okay Kaya, set to drop this fall via Jagjaguwar. In addition to the announcement, the singer shared the project's first single, a delicate and lilting cover of the gospel standard "If I Can Help Somebody."
Last year, Kaya shared her acclaimed sophomore albumWatch the Liquid Pour Itself, which went on to win a Spellemann Award, the Norwegian equivalent to the Grammys, for Best Indie/Alternative Music. Later that year, she also shared its companion album, Surviving Is The New Living. The Incompatible Okay Kaya drops on October 22.
