Rina Sawayama has been cast in John Wick: Chapter 4

The upcoming fourth film in the John Wick series, the popular action franchise starring Keanu Reeves, has cast pop singer Rina Sawayama in an as-yet unrevealed starring role, according to Deadline.

Chad Stahelski, the director of the first three John Wick, will return for John Wick: Chapter 4. “I’m so glad to have Rina on board to make her feature film debut in John Wick: Chapter 4,” Stahelski told Deadline. “She’s an incredible talent who’ll bring so much to the film.” Chapter 4's shooting is set to begin this summer in Europe and Japan.

Last year, Sawayama released her album Sawayama, one of our favorites of the year. She'll head out later this year for a world tour.
