Rod Wave's third album SoulFly dropped back in March and debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 albums chart. On the heels of that impressive success, the Florida singer has shared a new live performance for NPR's Tiny Desk (Home) Concert series. Wave brings a full band to perform four songs — including, crucially, a flutist for the melodies on his song "Street Runner," one of our favorite songs of the week when it dropped. He also runs through 2020's "Rags2Riches," as well as the SoulFly songs "Don't Forget" and "OMDB," performing in what looks like a nature reserve. "I put a lot into this album," Wave says of SoulFly during a bit of banter in between songs. "I feel like personally, I hit my creativity peak." Watch the full performance above.
