Each volume of the project, which also includes Lamentations, Revelations, Celebrations and Incantations, reflects a different stage of mourning and is an homage to Stevens' father who passed away last fall. Stevens' label Asthmatic Kitty described the upcoming release as “a 49-track reflection on a year of anxiety, uncertainty, isolation, and loss.”

In addition to the announcement of the album's release, Stevens shared its first single "Meditation V," as well. Listen to it above.
