Skepta and Rema join JAE5 on “Dimension”
The London producer’s debut single comes with two heavy-hitting guests.
There's a lot of talent on "Dimension," the new song from JAE5. There's the East London producer himself, whose Afrobeats-inspired hip-hop sonics help catapult London's J Hus to stardom (and onto the cover of The FADER). Then there are the songs featured artists, grime legend Skepta and Nigerian pop star Rema, who also covered our magazine once upon a time. All that should inspire you to check out the music video for "Dimension," streaming above.
The clip is shot in Ghana, where J Hus was born, and is stuffed with color and allegorical, slightly sci-fi imagery. “For my first single," JAE5 said in a press station, "I wanted to pull off something that represented me well. It had to be heavily influenced by Afrobeats and the UK urban scene. Skepta & Rema are the perfect combination. ‘Dimension’ is a meaningful track with a vibe! Skepta as always delivers the maddest verse and Rema on the hook - that guy just isn’t normal! I hope everyone enjoys the track.”
