The afrobeats artist dedicated his new song to “the magnificent body of the African woman.”

Rema preps for debut album with new song “Bounce” Rema  

Rema has dropped new song “Bounce.” The song is Rema's first release of 2021 and was produced by Don Jazzy, the head of Mavin Records. Rema signed to Mavin in 2019. A press release states that he will release his debut album on the label later this year. A lyric video for "Bounce" can be found below.

“This record was inspired by the luscious and magnificent body of the African woman,” Rema said in a statement. “Furthermore, I’m really excited about this tune because it’s my first single with the legendary Don Jazzy.”

Rema enjoyed a prolific year in 2020, dropping songs including “Beamer (Bad Boys)," ”4AM,” "Woman," and DJDS collaboration "Simple Things." Check out his 2019 FADER cover story now.
