Way back in 1997, Brandy played the titular role in a musical adaptation of Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella. The film co-starred Whitney Houston as the Fairy Godmother and featured a diverse cast of actors, an even more unusual sight at the time than it is now. The film has been unavailable to stream for years, but on Thursday Brandy revealed that Cinderella will debut on Disney+ this coming February 12.
Brandy made the announcement during an interview with The View host Whoopi Goldberg, who also appeared in the film. "I'm so excited that Cinderella has a home now at Disney+," Brandy said, " and we can celebrate and share and inspire a whole new generation to see this wonderful piece."
