Last year, Adrianne Lenker shared the double album songs and instrumentals, two contrasting full-lengths that laid bare the Big Thief songwriter's powers. Big Thief may be nominated for two Grammys at the 2021 ceremony (Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song for "Not"), but for her performance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert Lenker chose to perform "anything" from songs. It's just Lenker and her acoustic guitar, somewhere at dusk or dawn, the very definition of a whole mood.
