Japanese Breakfast took part in a virtual inauguration event for President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday, ahead of Wednesday's official ceremonies. As part of the AAPI Inaugural Ball: Breaking Barriers virtual event, Michelle Zauner performed “Everybody Wants to Love You!” from her 2016 album Psychopomp around the clip's 27:35 mark.
Backed by a full band in a cozy studio space, Zauner kicked off the performance by saying the band was "thrilled to be here to celebrate President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris." Wednesday's official inauguration ceremony will see performances from Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Justin Timberlake, Bruce Springsteen, and more.
