Perfume Genius announces remix album featuring A .G. Cook, Jenny Hval, and more

Perfume Genius has announced details of IMMEDIATELY Remixes, a collection of remixes of his 2020 album Set My Heart On Fire Immediately. The album will be released on February 19 and is preceded by a remix of "Your Body Changes Everything" by Massachusets-based electronic duo Boy Harsher. Check that out below.

The companion album will include remixes from PC Music producers A.G. Cook and Danny L. Harle plus Jaakko Eino Kaleivi, Jim-E Stack, Planningtorock, Jenny Hval, Initial Talk, Nídia, Westerman, Actress, Koreless, and Katie Dey. It includes new versions of every Set My Heart On Fire Immediately song and is sequenced in the same order as the original album.

Speaking in a statement Mike Hadreas, a.k.a. Perfume Genius, said: "I'm very honored to have all these incredible musicians rework these songs. I felt personally remixed listening to their versions, hearing the spirit of my song completely transformed was very magical. Each one feels like a little portal to a fucked up shared world."
