The 2020 Soul Train Awards aired on Sunday night on BET, featuring a bevy of performances from the best in hip-hop, soul, and R&B. Hosted by Tisha Campbell and Tichina Arnold, artists including Jazmine Sullivan, Moses Sumney, Brandy, Monica, and more took to the stage.
While Sullivan's retro-tinged performance saw the singer perform her two latest singles, "Lost One" and "Pick Up Your Feelings," Moses Sumney later performed grae single "Bless Me" in a dramatic all-black ensemble.
The night also saw performances from Brandy, who nabbed a Soul Certified Award, and Monica, who accepted the 2020 Lady of Soul Honor later in the evening. Brandy's short set included tracks from her latest album B7, "Say Something" and "Borderline," while Monica kicked up the nostalgia factor with a medley of her biggest hits including "Angel of Mine," and "So Gone."
