First performing her latest single "Damage," it was during her second performance of the evening that her backing band wore black shirts with #ENDSARS emblazoned on the front.

The singer-songwriter is one of many artists who have used their platform to speak out against Nigeria's Special Anti-Robbery police unit, which has lead to widespread protests and violence across Nigeria. Artists including Beyoncé, Rihanna, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, WizKid, and many more have criticized the Nigerian government and condemned police brutality.
