Toronto-based indie-pop artist MorMor shared the arresting animated video "Don't Cry" on Wednesday, marking the singer's first release of 2020. The black-and-white clip finds MorMor and his neighbors going through the motions of monotony, spiraling out of control in the process.
“I had started to write again in December with a few songs underway, but in March the world as we knew it came to a halt," MorMor said about how the song came together. "Though I tried to continue writing it didn’t feel right...Suddenly there were just too many things to make sense of: a Global pandemic, the sudden lockdown, shortly followed by the protests. I felt I had to reflect that."
