Attalie's sound can be tricky to pin down. Equal parts jazzy quiet storm and R&B with heavy influences from across Africa, her debut EP Polluted was full of surprises.

Today, the singer-songwriter premieres the haunting "Homeless," the lead single from her upcoming sophomore EP Sigh. Over piano-driven production, the track finds Attalie laying her fears on the line as the world around her shifts, with vocals that oscillate between breathy pleas and self-assured dips into her lower register.

"'Homeless' represents the loss of direction one faces when confronted with an unexpected turn of events," she said of the track. "This can disrupt the comfortability associated with one’s space, further accentuating lack of direction."

Boasting production from BLK JKS’ drummer Tshepang Ramoba, Sigh is "an expression of growing discontent, anxiety and sadness when the course of one’s life becomes uncertain," according to its official press release. The project drops on November 5.
