The utterly depressing spectacle of the 2020 election could use some levity. Believe it or not, Phoebe Bridgers is here to help thanks to her NPR Tiny Desk Concert. The three songs she plays from her superb album Punisher — "Kyoto," "Moon Song," and "I Know The End" — are all tearjerkers, but they're performed in a green-screened version of the Oval Office, the Phoebe as president and her backing band donned in Secret Service attire. The highlight is the performance of "I Know The End," which superimposes a bunch of fan-made front-facing cover videos of the song. It's more unifying than almost anything in politics has been in months. Check it out above, and revisit our Phoebe Bridgers cover story here.
