Navajo Relief Fund

A Black and Navajo trans woman is fundraising to support herself and her grandmother, who is living with Alzheimer’s, in wake of losing her job due to COVID-19.

“Our house is literally falling apart. The ceiling and floors are caved in with mold and we could definitely use some help getting a new trailer or small apartment with no health hazards. Also we currently have no running water and our source of electricity comes from a generator. Any help is much appreciated.” — Samantha John

McDonald’s Workers Strike Fund

Bay Area McDonald’s workers are striking over unsafe and unsanitary working conditions that have led to over 35 staff testing positive, in addition to their family members. This fund supports the workers as they strike.

Help an Afro-Latina Trans Woman in RI

21-year-old trans woman Hannah Sanchez is raising funds to apply for college, get her drivers license, and pay for gender-affirmation surgery.

“I began my transition in my teens and have reached a point where I feel ready for vaginoplasty surgery. It is very important to me to get this surgery to feel comfortable and confident in my body. This is something I have wanted for a long time, but now is the first time my life is feeling stable enough to take this step. I am hoping to raise funds to assist with the medical costs and additional funds to take care of myself while recovering from surgery.” — Hannah Sanchez

In memory of Sidi Mohamed Sow

The family of Sidi Mohamed, a young Black man tragically shot dead in Toronto, are seeking financial support in the wake of their loss.

“Sidi Mohamed was an only child to his parents.He was a bright young man and remembered as a gentle, kind and meek young man. Our family is deeply heartbroken by this tragedy. I was cousins with Sidi Mohamed and have beautiful childhood memories with him.” — Kadiatou Diallo

Help a black femme fund housing

Miami artist Marceline Steel is fundraising to support herself after loss of income due to COVID-19. An organizer in addition to her music work, Marceline is looking to assist Black queer and trans people with housing, but first needs to find housing for herself.

“I struggle with BPD and have been forgetting to help myself before anyone. I’ve been really nervous asking for help in these times but have been in an uncomfortable living situation I need help leaving. I would like to continue organizing and I plan to start an organization to help black queer and trans people in Miami but before I can do that comfortably I need a sense of stability in my living.” — Marceline

Black Land Matters: Help Save a 20 Acre MS Farm

A family in Mississippi is raising funds to purchase a farm debt-free. The farm will be used to teach agriculture skills as well as a housing hub for Black queer, non-binary, and trans people.

“Historical and present land theft has stolen 98% of Black land-owners. This systemic attack on Black lives has further disrupted our livelihoods and the preservation of our histories. At the center of all calls for justice, liberation and righteousness must be the return and preservation of land stewarded by our people. This is what we must do.” — Teresa Ervin

Young Black Family Need a New Car

The family of Blak (Australian First Nations) woman Jasmine Pacey is fundraising for a new car to accommodate their newborn Octaevius, who joins three older siblings. Octaevius was born prematurely and has been diagnosed with cystic fibrosis; the impact of COVID-19 has also complicated the family’s situation.

Help Julia in a time of crisis

21-year-old trans woman Julia is fundraising to find an emergency living situation after being kicked out by her family.

“I left in a hurry with a couple changes of clothes and my hygeine essentials and luckily have friends that will shelter me temporarily. I can’t stay in my parents house and need to get my stuff out as soon as possible. Please help me to at least have the money to find some room to rent and have food to eat until I can get on my feet.” — Julia

Help an aboriginal trans woman get surgeries

22-year-old Aboriginal trans woman Lola-Olivia Parkinson is fundraising to pay for life-saving gender-affirmation surgeries.

“For the past 3 years I have been on HRT (hormone replacement therapy) which has helped me a fair amount to have the body and appearance I once only dreamed of looking back at me in the mirror. While growing and maturing into the woman I am today I struggled to find a steady job and faced discrimination for being an indigenous trans woman.” — Lola-Olivia Parkinson
