Digital FORT: Porches’ Aaron Maine plays “I Wanna Ride” alone in his bedroom

Aaron Maine’s fourth LP as Porches, Ricky Music, was already a solitary-sounding record — an exploration of the loss of place one feels after the breakdown of a relationship. For his Digital FORT submission, Maine took one of the records most bittersweet songs, “I Wanna Ride,” and stripped it of all its pretty artifice, reducing it to a direct and heart-rending guitar demo.
