Digital FORT: Watch Ari Lennox and JID perform “Broke” live

Not too many people in the soul and R&B world had a more meteoric rise than DMV native singer Ari Lennox did in 2019. Though she had been active for the greater part of the 2010's, her debut album Shea Butter Baby (and extremely entertaining livestreams on Instagram) solidified her as one of R&B's brightest and most relatable stars. One of the best songs from the album (which just had a remix version drop) was "Broke" with Spillage Village's JID. For Digital FORT, Ari and JID share a live performance of the track, which went down in Dublin, Ireland in December of 2019.
