Instagram live can become much more than a means of connecting directly with fans. Occasionally it can be used as a vehicle for rappers to engage in extended, cross-country beefs, provide the fuel for snippet-Youtube, and break news.
Take Lil Baby, who just the other week landed at No. 1 on both the Billboard Artist 100 chart and number one on the Billboard 200 with his recent album, My Turn. Relaxing in a purple-lit room on a recent IG live session, the Atlanta rapper loosely teased an upcoming project called Lamborghini Boys. He would go on to say the mixtape would drop “in like 60 days,” and will only feature rappers “who got lamborghinis.”

Other highlights include the end of a backwood remaining the same size despite continuous smoking and a child’s voice off-screen addressing Lil Baby as Lil Baby. Whether or not Lamborghini Boys will actually materialize in the allotted 60 days is anyone's guess.
