Justin Timberlake is the executive music producer of the soundtrack for the upcoming film Trolls: World Tour. In February we heard "The Other Side," a song with SZA, and today Timberlake has revealed his collaboration with Anderson .Paak, "Don't Slack." Check out the lyric video above.
The track was debuted on Apple Music, and Timberlake hinted at more collaborations with .Paak to come. “I hope he doesn't mind that I'm gonna say this right now, but we talked about a possible joint project. We talked about it, but yeah, he's a busy man, too... He played me new stuff the other day... He's so good.”
As for a new album from Timberlake, the Trolls: World Tour album might be your best bet for a while. Or, maybe not: “Honestly, I'm just in a zone where I just love. I've always loved collaborating, but I feel like for whatever reason, whether it's being on tour, or again, because the vessel used to be the album... there was so much time in between when I would get to go in with people, and now, I could not put anything out for the rest of the year, I could also put eight records out before 2020 is over, I don't know.”
