Hayley Williams is employing an untraditional rollout for her anticipated solo album Petals For Armor, out on May 8 — today, the Paramore frontwoman dropped a five-song collection called Petals For Armor I. This drop contains the new songs "Cinnamon," "Creepin'" and "Sudden Desire," as well as the previously released "Simmer" and "Leave It Alone." On Twitter, Williams described the release as "part 1 of my album."
"Cinnamon" also comes with a video, directed by Warren Fu, in which Williams evades morph-suited demons around her house before relenting into a dance number similar to the climax of Alex Garland's Annihilation. Watch above, and read Hayley Williams' FADER cover story here.
