Earlier in the night at the 62nd annual Grammy Awards, FKA twigs took the stage with Usher and Sheila E. to pay tribute to the music of Prince. Though twigs got to flex her pole mastery, she didn't sing during the medley of "Little Red Corvette," “When Doves Cry,” and “Kiss.” Now, she has taken to Twitter to clarify that it wasn't a choice. "Of course I wanted to sign at the Grammys," she wrote during the broadcast on Sunday night. "I wasn't asked this time but hopefully in the future. None the less what an honour."
