Porches, the project of New York producer and songwriter Aaron Maine, has announced his fourth album, Ricky Music. It's out in March, and will feature contributions from the likes of Zsela and Dev Hynes (the latter of which appeared on the lead single, "rangerover.")
"[The album] was written and recorded between Dec 2017 and the spring of 2019," Maine wrote in a press statement. "This record is an account of the beauty, confusion, anger, joy and sadness I experienced during that time. I think I was as lost as I was madly in love. In these songs I hear myself sometimes desperate for clarity, and other times, having enough perspective to laugh at myself in some of my darkest moments."
In anticipation for the full project, he's offering a new cut from the tracklist, "Do U Wanna," an inward-facing groove with plenty of cowbell. The song arrives with a new video that has Maine dancing in the arms of his therapist. Watch the Nick Harwood-directed clip below.
Ricky Music is out March 13 via Domino.
