DaBaby and Jennifer Lopez appeared on Saturday Night Live this past weekend, with the former playing musical guest for the first time ever and the latter hosting for her third time. Both stars are riding high from hugely successful recent projects — DaBaby from his No. 1-charting 2019 album Kirk, and Lopez from her turn in Hustlers, which is supposedly a top competitor for this year’s Supporting Actress Oscar.
For the musical performances, DaBaby staged elaborate and joyful performances of “Suge” and “BOP.” And elsewhere in the show, he joined Lopez and various SNL castmembers for a skit titled Hip-Hop Carolers, in which they turn classic rap songs into Christmas tracks.
