Hinds take a flashy road trip in the “Riding Solo” video
The Madrid rock group close out 2019 with a comeback.
Hinds burst out of their hometown of Madrid with infectious, funny rock music, and have built a global following on the backs of two well-received albums (2016's Leave Me Alone and 2018's I Don't Run) and a voracious touring schedule. Today, the group returns with "Riding Solo," the first new Hinds song of the year. It's a catchy, noisy, and slightly wry celebration of self-sufficiency, and you can watch the Keane Pearce Shaw-directed music video above.
Here's Hinds on the new song, via a press release:
"Feeling lonely is one of the most common human feelings, right? Well, being a musician doesn’t really help. Your whole life is constantly moving and the only thing that remains is yourself. And dealing with yourself, oh gosh, we all know how boring and angering that can be. 'Riding Solo' is about this. about us. Perpetually on the move, being everywhere and nowhere at the same time. Surrounded by strangers most time of the day, being 9 hours time difference from our people and what we call home, living and dying por y para la música."
