Lil Wayne announces weed brand GKUA Ultra Premium

Flowers, vape cartridges, and concentrates are now available in Los Angeles.

Lil Wayne has launched his first official weed strain. GKUA Ultra Premium is now available in select Los Angeles stores as a flower and concentrate, as well as vape batteries and cartridges. A wider release is due in 2020.

“I used to just want to get high," Wayne wrote in a press release, "now I smoke to get inspired...With GKUA, I’m sharing a feeling that I love.” Each of the flower and concentrate brands were tested and approved by Wayne, and some will contain the "highest natural levels of THC available." The debut strain, Hollygrove, is named for Wayne's childhood neighborhood in New Orleans.
