Back in 2016, The Avalanches returned with Wildflower, their first album since debuting back in 2000 with Since I Left You. It appears as though fans may not have to wait 16 whole years for the Australian band's next record, though. Today, the group posted an Instagram update from a stained glass-adorned church, writing that they're on their "final session of album 3 with the Australian Boys Choir."
Though nothing's been confirmed, The Avalanches appear to have recruited a stellar team of collaborators for the project — as Consequence of Sound pointed out back in September, the band tagged the likes of JPEGMAFIA, Dhani Harrison, and Cornelius in a recent post confirming the project was being mixed. They have all since been untagged.
