It seems like President Donald Trump is a fan of the record-breaking film Joker, as reports have surfaced that it was screened at the White House on Saturday, according to Yahoo.

Guests, including “family, friends, and some staff," watched the film at the in-house screening room according to a senior White House official who also added that the President liked the film.

Released in October, the anti-hero origin story of Batman's sociopathic arch-nemesis has already passed the $1 billion. Critics previously raised concerns over the film's brutal violence and depiction of a man driven to crime after years of societal neglect. Theaters even went as far as banning face masks and costumes from screenings amid security concerns, which also saw plans to send additional law enforcement and security to select theaters.
