Princess Nokia released the visuals to her latest single "Balenciaga" on Friday, an ode to second-hand threads in lieu of designer finds. The bass-heavy track offers up the perfect groove for Nokia's almost monotone and growly delivery, as she waxes poetic about Skechers sneakers that look like Balenciagas and thrift clothes looking like Prada.
The clip sees the rapper ironically donning a giant Balenciaga fur jacket before ditching it to dance down the streets of New York, filled with a whole host of just as eccentrically-dressed downtown cool kids.
This marks the second single of this year, kicking off her string of new releases with “Sugar Honey Iced Tea (S.H.I.T.)” from earlier this fall. While there's no word just yet on an upcoming project, the rapper might have another mixtape on the way.
