In a new testimony from United States Embassy in Kiev official David Holmes during Trump's ongoing impeachment inquiry, the President reportedly spoke to American ambassador to the European Union Gordon D. Sondland about the rapper's then-ongoing issue, with Sondland telling Trump that Rocky "should have pled guilty." He reportedly went on to tell Trump that Sweden "should have released him on your word" and advised him to "let [Rocky] get sentenced, play the racism card, give him a ticker-tape when he comes home." Additionally, the pair discussed getting Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky to conduct an investigation into Joe Biden.

Despite Rocky's troubles in Sweden, he recently announced that he plans to return to the country to perform in Stockholm on Dec. 11.
