Gays may know Silky Nutmeg Ganache as the "Munch-much, crunch-crunch” queen of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 11, but to those not familiar with her “attitude check” likeness, apparently she looks like Sean Kingston.

In the latest installment of The FADER’s Remember That Time, the drag queen reminiscences on the time she was mistaken for the "Fire Burning" singer while studying at the University of Sunderland in England. Although she doesn’t remember the exact year — “I don’t remember, I’m getting old” — Ganache reveals that while she was studying Performing Arts in the U.K., she was called Sean Kingston every night by random white people.

While Stan Twitter might be wondering how the infamous season 11 queen could ever be mistaken for Kingston, Ganache explains: “at the time I had a fade and I was a little fat boy running in jeans and V-necks.” When the confused people would scream, “OMG! Sean Kingston!” Ganache would play along, responding to them with “Beautiful Girls” lyrics and melodies. The point of that cat-fishing? “Needless to say… when they was buying drinks, I was drinking them.” Ganache’s impersonation lasted until the real Sean Kingston got injured in a jet-skiing accident to the bewilderment of the Sunderland people. “Because I’m American though, they kept buying me drinks.” Watch the full Remember That Time above.
