Kenny Beats and 03 Greedo have dropped a mini-doc on the creation of their joint project, Netflix and Deal, which is due out on November 22 via Alamo Records. The upcoming release draws inspiration from Greedo’s favorite films, including Blow and Maria Full of Grace, and in the documentary we see the cinephile doing his best Penelope Cruz impersonation from the former title. Vince Staples, Ohgeesy, and Freddie Gibbs all appear in the 16-minute clip. Watch it in full at the top of the page.
Greedo is still making his presence known despite his incarceration on gun and drug charges. This collaboration with Kenny most likely constitutes a small percentage of the 3,000 songs he reportedly recorded prior to his arrest.
Netflix and Deal will be 13 tracks in total and offer features from Vince Staples, Maxo Kream, Freddie Gibbs, Buddy, OhGeesy, and Key!. Stream “Maria,” the first track off the project, below.
