Jim-E Stack's discography of productions and collaborations is a who's who of progressive pop: Charli XCX, Caroline Polachek, Octavian, Perfume Genius... he even played keyboards on Haim's "Want You Back." His massive new single "Good Enough," premiering today on The FADER, digs into the Rolodex: Ant Clemons provides golden-age Future vocals, pop juggernaut Ariel Rechtshaid handles the twinkling keys, and Danielle Haim subtly rips her guitar. It's as good as the sum of its parts, which means you should listen immediately.

Over email, Jim-E Stack explained the song's inception and narrative. "I’ve grown so much — in all different directions — from working with other people the past couple years. Stepping into someone else’s word also brings them into mine. An idea that starts in my apartment takes a trip I never could’ve planned and ends somewhere I didn’t know existed. That’s how 'Good Enough' came to be.”
