Summer Walker is celebrating a huge opening week of sales for her debut album, Over It. The album, released on October 4, charted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart after shifting 134,000 equivalent album units. Billboard notes that songs from the album, including "Girls Need Love" and Usher collaboration "Come Thru," were streamed 154.7 million times in the week following its release. This makes it the most streamed R&B album by a woman artist of all time. That record previously belonged to Beyoncé’s Lemonade when it dropped in 2016.

Lemonade's physical sales meant that Bey still moved 202,000 units in the week dated May 28, 2016, its third week on sale. The only R&B album in history to be streamed more times in a week than Over It is The Weeknd’s 2016 album, Starboy, which was played 175.2 million times uon its release.

Despite the impressive numbers, Over It missed out on the top spot behind K-pop group SuperM. Their The 1st Mini Album sold 168,000 units helped, in part, by a number of bundle deals.
