Earlier this summer, before "Old Town Road" was the biggest song in the country, Anderson .Paak brought Lil Nas X out on stage to perform live at Boston Calling. Since then Lil Nas X has broken chart records and opened up about his sexuality, as well as turning in a mini sci-fi movie for new song "Panini."
Anderson .Paak marked the summer of "Old Town Road" with a fun cover of the smash hit on BBC Radio 1 on Monday. In addition to performing his own song "Jet Black," .Paak slowed the Lil Nas X song down to a gentle groove, totally reinventing it in the process. Because this was recorded in London, he also decided to talk in a British accent for 30 seconds. You can be the judge of that part.
