Watch 25 Years of Ready to Die, a short doc on Biggie’s classic album
The iconic album gets a mini-documentary from Amazon Music.
Today is the 25th anniversary of Ready To Die, the landmark debut album from The Notorious B.I.G. To celebrate, why not spend some time with 25 Years of Ready to Die, the eight-minute documentary on the project that dropped on Wednesday. The Amazon Music-produced short contains interviews with the people who mattered, like Ready To Die producer Easy Mo Dee, associate executive producer DJ Mister Cee, and The FADER's Rob Stone. Tracking Biggie from humble beginnings, to meeting Puff Daddy, and finally, to "Juicy," 25 Years of Ready to Die is a quick refresher on what made Notorious so one-of-a-kind. "One of the things he's left behind is not just a hip-hop legacy, but a persona of a borough," Biggie's biographer Cheo Hodari Coker says. Watch above, and listen to Ready To Die below.
