Charli XCX has dropped Charli, her first album in five(!) years. Her last record was 2014’s punk-influenced Sucker; since then, she’s released the SOPHIE-produced four-track Vroom Vroom and two mixtapes, Number 1 Angel and Pop 2. Charli was preceded by seven singles: “Gone” featuring Christine and the Queens, “Cross You Out” featuring Sky Ferreira, “1999” featuring Troye Sivan, “Warm” featuring HAIM, “Blame It On Your Love” featuring Lizzo, “February 2017” featuring Clairo and Yaeji, and “2099,” also featuring Troye Sivan. The record was executive produced by A. G. Cook, and also features contributions from Dylan Brady, umru, Kim Petras, Tommy Cash, Big Freedia, CupcakKe, Brooke Candy and more.
