Earlier this month, Lizzo’s “Truth Hurts” hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100, thus completing the ascendant pop star’s rise from semi-unknown indie artist to really fucking huge major label star. Today, Lizzo got the seal of approval from Rihanna, which is pretty much the best co-sign one can get. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly at her SAVAGE X FENTY fashion show, Bad Gal RiRi confirmed that she, like you, is obsessed with Lizzo.

“I love Lizzo, she’s so badass,” Rihanna told EW, “I would collaborate with her on the lights for this interview, Lizzo is so badass and she’s everything that Savage stands for — a confident woman, no matter what size, colour, shape, your attitude is what makes you savage.
