Miley Cyrus shared the visuals to her latest single "Slide Away," a song likely referencing her recent split from Liam Hemsworth. The clip finds Cyrus drudging through the aftermath of a wild night of partying, including a completely trashed house, and people passed out in various rooms throughout.
"Once upon a time it was made for us/Woke up one day and it turned to dust/Baby we were found but now we're lost so it's time to let it go," Cyrus sings. Move on we're not 17/I'm not who I used to be/You say that everything changed/You're right we're grown now," she continues, likely alluding to the pair's nearly 10-year relationship that began when Cyrus was 17.
The lyrics also echo her tweets from last month when she hit back against rumors her reported infidelity caused the end of their 8-month marriage. "The bottom line is, I HAVE GROWN UP," she tweeted at the time. "You can say I am a twerking, pot smoking, foul mouthed hillbilly but I am not a liar."
