Pharrell Williams said "women's rights." Or at least, he's saying so in a new advertising his new line of shoes. The shoes are a collaboration between Adidas and Williams' streetwear brand, which is called... wait for it... Billionaire Boys Club. "History was her time. Now is her time. The future is her time," Williams remarks in a promo video for the shoes, which range from $160-$220 and will be available starting this Saturday online and at Billionaire Boys Club locations in London, New York and Tokyo. Check out the full campaign video, which features appearances from Syd, Reggie Yates, and Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors, below.

Back in 2017, Pharrell emphasized gender equality in a speech addressing the graduating class at New York University: "This is the first generation that navigates the world with the security and confidence to treat women as equal. You are the first ever. Our country has never seen this before. It makes some people uncomfortable." His last solo album, G I R L, arrived back in 2014.
