Big Sean will take the stage at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards tonight, and by all indications, he'll be performing "Bezerk," his new single featuring A$AP Ferg and produced by Hit-Boy. The song features the two rappers trading bars, acting like each other's wingman and displaying a jock-ish chemistry in the process. The new song follows his comeback track "Overtime" and "Single Again," featuring Jhené Aiko and Ty Dolla $ign.
The new music comes as Big Sean prepares his upcoming album Don Life. “I just been returning to my roots, bro,” Sean told Zane Lowe in July. “I’ve just been getting back to having fun with it. At one point, I felt like it might have started to become like a burden, or like work, but now it’s just fun. So this is just me having fun bro, expressing myself. It was a time well spent.
