YoungBoy Never Broke Again is officially out of jail, his representative confirms to The FADER: "He is now home and in great spirits."
The Baton Rouge rapper served three months for violating his probation following a shooting in Miami just ahead of Rolling Loud back in May. A group of assailants reportedly opened fire at YoungBoy outside of the Trump International Hotel. YoungBoy's team retaliated, and the shootout left one dead and one severely wounded. Louisiana judge Bonnie Jackson found him "talking smack" about the incident on social media, a violation of the terms of his probation, and ordered him to be detained.
Jackson had sentenced YoungBoy to three years probation back in 2017 for aggravated assault with a firearm. Baton Rouge's WAFB reports the rapper will serve 14 months under house arrest following his release from jail. He will not be permitted to perform during that time. His next probation hearing August 30.
