"You can ask anybody," Z Money told The FADER last year. "I been doing this since I was a kid. I had a restaurant when I was 18 years old. I had a building I owned when I was 18. I had a $100,000 car on $10,000 rims when I was 18 years old. I’m not one of them rappers who be like, 'Oh yeah, I was selling drugs before I was rapping!' I was really rich. Born on the South Side of Chicago, based almost permanently in the studio, and very rarely modest, Z Money has been working for as long as he can remember. "Z Money is a young, aspiring, hard-working entrepreneur," he says the our latest The FADER x WAV Present Frequencies mini-doc. "Anybody that meets Z Money is gonna love him." We follow the 1017 Eskimo signee as he checks in with his equally business-minded father, rides through his hometown, and ends up, inevitably, at the studio.

Watch the full mini-doc above and listen to Z Money's latest full-length project, Shawty Paid, below.
