R. Kelly has been hit with two new counts of sexual misconduct dating back to an incident with an underage girl in Minneapolis in 2001. The charges allege that the disgraced R&B singer paid an underage girl $200 to come to his hotel room. According to the Saint Paul Pioneer Press, Kelly faces two felony counts of “engaging in, hiring, or agreeing to hire a minor to engage in prostitution.”

The new charges in Minneapolis follow Kelly's impending federal charges in both Chicago and New York, where he faces counts of sexual assault, sexual abuse, child pornography, racketeering, and more. In response to the news, Kelly's lawyer Steven Greenberg tweeted: “Re: New charges @RKelly give me a break. This is beyond absurd.”
