Janet Jackson, Future, Chris Brown, 50 Cent, and Tyga have have joined the bill for Jeddah World Fest, a Saudi Arabia concert Nicki Minaj pulled out of over fears regarding human rights in the country.
As Billboard reports, organizers of the concert, which takes place on July 18 at the King Abdullah Sports Stadium, updated their website with news of the new performers. They join the previously announced Liam Payne and Steve Aoki on the line-up.
Minaj was featured on the original bill but opted out of performing as a show of solidarity for the rights of women, the LGBTQ community, and freedom of expression.
Thor Halvorssen, president of the Human Rights Foundation, condemned the artists performing at Jeddah Fest, telling The Associated Press that it was “profoundly distressing that they have chosen money over morals.”
Representatives for Jackson, Brown, 50 Cent, Future and Tyga were not immediately available for comment.
