Eve carved a unique place for herself in the field of early '00s rap thanks to hits like "Let Me Blow Ya Mind" and "Who's That Girl." However, the Ruff Ryders artist stepped back from music after 2013's Lip Lock and settled into a co-hosting role on CBS's The Talk in 2017. She's returning to music this year, and today shares "Reload" featuring Konshens. The reggae-rap song is Eve's first solo song in six years.
"I love reggae so much," Eve said about her new sound in a statement. "I've been going to Jamaica since 1999 and anyone that knows me knows that you'll find me in a corner with my reggae on, dancing. We wrote the line before [Konshens] was involved ['fucking up my conscience/listening to Konshens'] - I'm just glad he was feeling it!"
