A bunch of Playboi Carti leaks just showed up on his Apple Music page

Playboi Carti's struggles with leaks continued on Wednesday when at least five unofficially released songs made their way to his Apple Music page, as Genius points out.

The tracks, titled "Shortie N Luv," "Hulk," A and L," "T S**t," and "Butterfly Pill," appear to have been uploaded by a user named DJ EightBit. The tracks were uploaded at different times throughout 2019 — the earliest being "Shortie N Luv" and "Hulk" on April 29, with "Butterfly" appearing on June 21. They seem to have been uploaded first to DJ EightBit's Apple Music page, and on Wednesday the songs found their way to Playboi Carti's Apple Music landing page. By Thursday, the songs had been removed from Apple Music.

The imprint for each of the songs on Apple Music was "DJ EightBit," strongly implying the songs were illegally uploaded. The FADER has reached out to representatives for Playboi Carti and Apple Music for more information.

The hunger for new Playboi Carti music has lead to his leaks making a significant impact. An unauthorized upload of the song "Kid Cudi" (also known as "Pissy Pamper") with Young Nudy reached number one of Spotify's Viral 50 chart.
